The Manaaki Hapori Enhancing Communities project ran during 2010 – 2011 and brought together community and parish based social service initiatives with the aim that collectively they might provide the best services for their communities.
Manaaki Hapori built on local networks and relationships, shared best practice benchmarks, codes, guidelines and processes across the range of parish based and agency social services that NZCCSS members provide. During 2011 the Manaaki Hapori researcher Betsan Martin met with member and community social services in a number of regions via cluster meetings and regional hui.
